bullet This male's fleece is incredibly soft and fine!  Tristan is, without a doubt, one of the finest fleeced alpacas in ALL of Canada.  His fleece exhibits extreme fineness ... at his first shearing (10 months) it was only 14.71 microns.  At 2 yrs it was still only 16.80 microns and at 3 years it is still 18.79!!!!  WOW
bulletTRISTAN has excellent crimp & lustre and his fleece has a wonderful handle (how could he not with that micron!).
bulletTRISTAN went to his first show March 2008.  White classes are extremely competitive so we are thrilled that he brought home a 4th place ribbon!
bulletShow Record:
bullet 4th in class  (Senior White Male) at 2008 A.L.P.A.C.A. Northlands Spring Show (Full Fleece Show).  Edmonton, Alberta.  Judge: David Friedman (March 29&30, 2008).  Judge commented that Tristan's fleece was by far the finest in his class!  As of March 2008, this was the largest show in all of Canada to date with 306 entries!!!.
bullet 2nd in class  (out of 10 Intermediate White Males) at A.L.P.A.C.A. Fleece Show & Sale.   Olds, Alberta.  Judge: Jill MacLeod (June 29, 2008)
bullet

TRISTAN has strong genetics for fine fleece as both his parents are extremely fine.  With these strong genetics, he should have a great influence on his future offspring.

bullet

TRISTAN's sire, Tell Trisco, was one of the finest fleeced sires in Canada.  His first year fleece was an unbelievable 14.7 microns!  At 4 years of age, his fleece was still only  20.76!    He descends from Pperuvian Felix (full Accoyo) who is renowned in the US for producing champions.     TRISTAN appears to be following in his father's footsteps!

bullet

TRISTAN is half brother to the Reserve Grand Champion Female, Celeste (same mother)
